India names Commonwealth Cue Sports squad for Ahmedabad
Away from Bali, the Billiards & Snooker Federation of India has named an 18-member squad for the second Commonwealth Cue Sports Championships (7–10 October, Veer Savarkar Sports Complex, Ahmedabad) — the first time the multi-discipline meet lands in India, across English billiards, snooker, 10-ball, heyball and blackball.
Direct-entry medal hopes include Vidya Pillai (women’s heyball gold in Mauritius 2025), Shivam Arora (men’s heyball silver) and Chitra Magimairaj (women’s 10-ball silver). Women’s billiards is led by IBSF world snooker champion Anupama Ramachandran; Asian women’s snooker champion Keerthana Pandian headlines women’s snooker. Men’s names include Siddharth Parikh, Rayaan Razmi, Laxman Rawat, Aditya Mehta, Paras Gupta, Divya Sharma and Sundeep Gulati.
