Who is missing — and why it matters
Mark Allen won this title last year in a 9–8 scrap with Zhou after leading 7–3 and nearly throwing it away. He has pulled out of both the British Open and the English Open. O'Sullivan is out of Brentwood as well. That is two of the poster names gone before a ball is struck.
