News Pink Ribbon Final Four Set — Bingham and Joyce Blank Rivals; Moody Edges Pullen, Wakelin Survives Hussain

Pink Ribbon — final four locked at Landywood

The quarters are done at Landywood Snooker Club and the Pink Ribbon final four is set: Stuart Bingham, Mark Joyce, Stan Moody and defending champion Chris Wakelin.

Bingham made short work of Elliot Slessor, 4–0, with a 90 and a 55 along the way. Joyce was just as brutal — 4–0 over David Grace, centuries of 108 and 103 in the first two frames.

The other half went the distance. Moody beat Liam Pullen 4–3 despite Pullen's 139 and 100; Moody took the decider. Wakelin edged Hamim Hussain 4–3 — Hussain's 129 and Wakelin's 99 the standout breaks — as the defending champion booked his place in the last four.

Semis and final still to come this evening; CueTracker still lists quarter-final as the deepest finish posted as of press time. Scores and centuries per CueTracker.

World 10-Ball — Absolute Pool's takeaways from Ho Chi Minh

Absolute Pool's 12 October wrap from the World 10-Ball Championship in Ho Chi Minh City is still the freshest long read in the game. Poland's Wojciech Szewczyk is a two-time world 10-ball champion — only the third player ever to complete the brace, after Ko Ping-Chung and final opponent Eklent Kaçi.

Kaçi's run was pure stamina: recoveries from deficits against Dương Quốc Hoàng, Niels Feijen, Robbie Capito and Joshua Filler before the final. Absolute Pool notes that Filler, Fedor Gorst, Shane Van Boening and Francisco Sánchez Ruiz still lack a World 10-Ball title, and that no one has yet completed the 8/9/10 world-title trinity. Asia's final-four drought continued — Capito and Aloysius Yapp the last Asian names into the quarters.

Manila week — Reyes Cup Thursday, Philippines Open next

Roobet Reyes Cup opens Thursday 15 October at Makati Coliseum (through Sunday 18th). Team Asia (captain Francisco "Django" Bustamante) chase a three-peat; Ralf Souquet's Rest of the World side — Van Boening, Filler, Sánchez Ruiz, Gorst, Pecelj — still hunting a first. Sessions listed 19:00–23:30 local; live on WNT TV / ESPN+ in available territories. Line-ups and captains' quotes already flagged earlier today — just the clock ticking now.

Straight after: Roobet Philippines Open Pool Championship, 20–24 October at Gateway Mall, Quezon City, with David Alcaide defending. Per World Nineball Tour and Philippine News Agency.

Goyang turns over — NH NongHyup Card next

After Quoc Nguyen's Crown Haitai title in Goyang (covered last night), the Korean tour barely pauses. The NH NongHyup Card PBA–LPBA Championship is next at KINTEX: LPBA from 18 October, PBA from 20 October (through 25/26). Dates per the Korean Pro Billiards Players Association notices.
