News Mi Le & Filler Lock Aramith Final — Seo–Chou Worlds Decider; Wu–Yuan Shenzhen Final Day

Shenzhen — all-Chinese ranking final

World champion Wu Yize faces Yuan Sijun in the inaugural Shenzhen Open final at Bao’an Sports Centre — first session 07:00 BST, evening session 12:30 BST.

Wu thrashed Judd Trump 6–1 in yesterday’s semi (110 finish); Yuan ground out 6–5 against Jimmy Robertson in a marathon decider. Yuan is in a maiden ranking final; Wu can leapfrog Trump to world No.2 with the title.

Coming up — India

The Commonwealth Cue Sports Championships open in Ahmedabad (Veer Savarkar Sports Complex) 7–10 October — first time on Indian soil — with snooker, English billiards, 10-ball, heyball and blackball across men’s and women’s draws. India’s squad includes Anupama Ramachandran (billiards), Vidya Pillai, Aditya Mehta and others under BSFI/WCBS.

Overnight in Bali locked a fresh 10-ball final — and Sunday stacks two more title fights on top.

Bali — Aramith Men’s Open final set

China’s Mi Le and Germany’s Joshua Filler are through to the Aramith Men’s Open final after overnight semi-finals at the Bali International Convention Centre.

Mi Le edged Hong Kong’s Robbie Capito in a deciding-set shootout — Capito had himself needed a shootout to dump James Aranas in the last 16. Filler beat Spain’s Francisco Sanchez Ruiz in the other semi. Both finalists remain unbeaten through the knockout (7–0), with Capito and Sanchez Ruiz finishing 3rd–4th).

The $42,000 title match is due Monday (5 October) on the Predator Pro Billiard Series stage. Amoroto’s earlier dump of world 10-ball champ Wojciech Szewczyk, Capito’s run, and Filler’s march past Carlo Biado already made this one of the deepest Bali fields in years.

Bali — Women’s Worlds final day

Defending champion Seo Seoa (KOR) meets Taiwan’s Chou Chieh-Yu in today’s Kamui WPA Women’s 9-Ball World Championship final — also at Bali ICC.

Seo reached the decider 3–1 over Wei Tzu-Chien; Chou blanked Japan’s Chihiro Kawahara 3–0. Seo is chasing a rare back-to-back Worlds title after last December’s shootout win over Kristina Tkach; Chou already owns the 2023 crown. Champion’s cheque: $55,000.
