Good morning, all. I promised you the Gandia champions, and we have two first-time Euro Tour winners. Felix Vogel ran away with the men's final and Jiang Teng won hers on the very last rack. Overnight in Nanjing, Thepchaiya Un-Nooh made a maximum in the first frame against Mark Williams and still lost the match.
Vogel takes Gandia, 12 months after his junior world title there
Felix Vogel beat his fellow German Luca Menn 11–4 in the Revora Spanish Open final last night, per the EPBF results. It's his first Predator Euro Tour title, after losing two finals in 2024, and he's only 18. The EPBF report says the opening racks were close, but from 5–3 Vogel won four in a row to lead 9–3 and Menn never got back into it.
The venue clearly suits him. A year ago he won the WPA World Junior Championship in the same hall. His toughest match of the week was the quarter-final against Mieszko Fortunski, where he came back from 10–5 down to win 11–10. "It feels really good to have finally made it, to win the final because I lost two times before," Vogel told the EPBF. He also won the Billard Beckmann Men's Open in Austria on the Pro Billiard Series in June, and he says San Antonio in a few weeks is his last event of the year.
It's hard on Menn, who has now lost the Gandia final two years running. Oliver Szolnoki beat him here in 2025. The beaten semi-finalists were Mika van Berkel and Iker Andoni Echeverria.
Jiang Teng wins on her Euro Tour debut
The women's final went to a decider. China's Jiang Teng beat Ina Kaplan 9–8, and this was her first ever Euro Tour event. Kaplan led 8–6 and was one rack from the title. Then, per the EPBF, she missed the 7-ball. Jiang levelled at 8–8, got ball in hand in the decider and ran out.
It completes an extraordinary week for Jiang. She lost to Marion Jude on the winners' side and had to come through the one-loss bracket. Then she won hill-hill against Sandra Baumgartner and again against Ana Gradišnik before beating Maria-Teresa Ropero 9–7 in the semi-finals. The EPBF says she reached the quarter-finals of this year's China Open. "This is my first big pool championship so I'm very happy!" she said. Oliwia Zalewska was the other beaten semi-finalist.
That's the end of the 2026 Euro Tour. The 2027 season starts with the Predator Treviso Open in Italy, 28 to 31 January.
Un-Nooh makes a 147, and Williams wins anyway
The Thai made a maximum in the opening frame of his last-32 match with Mark Williams at the International Championship. Totally Snookered timed it at 7 minutes 20 seconds. WST says it's the eighth 147 of his career, which puts him seventh on the all-time list on his own, one ahead of Ding Junhui. It's the sixth of the season and the 247th in professional snooker. It also beats Joe O'Connor's 146 as the tournament high break, so Un-Nooh is in line for the £5,000 high-break prize. Williams then took six of the next eight frames to win 6–3. He plays Xu Si or John Higgins in the last 16 on Tuesday.
The rest of Nanjing's early session
- Hossein Vafaei 6–2 Mark Selby: another strong win for Vafaei, who now plays Si Jiahui or Liu Hongyu.
- Fan Zhengyi 6–2 Pang Junxu: Fan wins the all-Chinese match and meets Liam Davies next.
- Liam Davies 6–5 Ricky Walden: Davies, ranked 90th, won it in a decider.
- Yuan Sijun 6–4 Mitchell Mann
- Oliver Lines 6–5 Ben Woollaston: another decider. Lines plays Ryan Day or Kyren Wilson next.

- Julien Leclercq 2–2 Marco Fu

Every match is streamed on Soop, per the UMB.
