Dennis Taylor and Steve Davis will be celebrating the 40th anniversary of the iconic 1985 World Snooker Championship final with a special event at the Crucible Theatre in Sheffield on 9 April.
There are very limited tickets remaining, including VIP Meet & Greet which offers the chance to meet the two snooker legends who contested the famous final as well as a prime seat and your name on the ‘Black Ball Roll of Thanks’ which will be shown on screen throughout the evening.
The evening will provide the opportunity to relieve arguably the most famous moment in snooker history, as 18.5 million viewers on the BBC watched Taylor pot the final black to win the World Championship title at the sport’s most famous venue. It is sure to be an evening of nostalgia with stories, trick shots and an official rematch 40 years on!
